Doubt With Courage

“We have seen the Lord.” But [St. Thomas the Apostle] said to [the Apostles], “Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and place my finger in the mark of the nails, and place my hand in his side, I will not believe.” Doubting is natural to us because of our nature to learn and absorb through time. Until we have fully grasped a subject and have woven it into our intellect we will have questions. This is how we come to understand on a deeper level, by not accepting at face-value, but asking for more to grasp and digest. (more…)
